The Voices Behind

Mission in Motion: Peace Made Possible is a project that provided Färgfabriken and the Challenges Forum with a unique opportunity to cooperate. Methodologies developed in Färgfabriken’s international programs related to urbanisation in post-conflict cities are applied to explore ways in which to more effectively communicate the mission, vision and activities of current peace operations.

In this section, the project is looking for alternative interpretations of peace operations through voices from and about the UN. More voices to be added.

"One of the first tasks was to try to get the various rebel movements to actually come to the capital Kinshasa."...

Ms. Jesca Muyingo

"One of the highest points of pride for us is that we were constantly credited for the most credible source of information and that really manifested during the ebola crisis."...

Mr. Erich Ball

"The one thing that comes out in all the years of peacekeeping, of all the locations I have been in, is that the fundamental problem doesn't change."...

Ms. Awa Ndiaye Seck

Ms. Leanne Smith
